Tomar algo en una plataforma de helicópteros a 200 metros del suelo? así es, además goza de las mejores vistas de las Torres Petronas de Kuala Lumpur y los invita a disfrutar de unos atardeceres increíbles junto a la música de los DJ’s más reconocidos de Malasia.
El Heli Lounge Bar está compuesto de dos partes; por un lado está el restaurante-bar de la planta 34 del edificio Menara KH y por otro lado está el helipuerto en la parte superior del edificio. Para subir a la pista de aterrizaje, primero hay que esperar a la hora en la que se cierra oficialmente al tráfico activo y una vez no haya más helicópteros, podremos subir los tramos de empinadas escaleras que nos llevan hasta lo más alto del edificio.
En el helipuerto, se tiene una impresionante vista de 360 grados de la ciudad de Kuala Lumpur. La puesta de sol aquí es, sin duda, una maravilla mientras se toma una copa.
El helipuerto está abierto todos los días desde las 6pm y en adelante, de jueves a sábado, la fiesta en el helipuerto comienza a las 9pm. De igual manera si quieres más tranquilidad u otro tipo de música, siempre y en cualquier momento se puede bajar al club de la planta 34.
El club bar de la planta 34 tiene una decoración tematizada sobre la aviación, y está todo lleno de piezas reales de un boing 747, como los asientos de la cabina, ventanillas, etc.
Hay que reconocer que a pesar de lo exclusivo del lugar, ni sus menús ni sus cócteles están a la altura del gran lugar en el que estamos. Aún así, el helipuerto compensa todo, siendo probablemente el mejor lugar para disfrutar de las vistas de Kuala Lumpur sin barreras.

The Heli Lounge Bar has two parts; on one side and locate on the 34th floor of the Menara KH building is the restaurant-bar and above that is the helipad, located on top of the building. To reach the heli lounge, first, we have to wait for the time when it officially closes the active traffic and once there is no more helicopters flights, we can go there by the stairs that lead up to the building roof.
The heliport has a breathtaking 360 degree view of the city of Kuala Lumpur. The sunset here is definitely awesome while we are having some drinks.
The heliport is open daily from 6pm onwards, Thursday to Saturday, the party at the heliport begins at 9pm. Similarly if you want lighter or other music, always and anytime you can go down to the 34th floor club.
The club bar at the 34th floor has a themed decor on Aviation, and it’s all full of real pieces of a boing 747, such as cabin seats, windows and so on.
To be honest, despite the exclusivity of the place, nor its menus and cocktails don’t keep up the level of the great place where we are. Anyway, the heliport roof is, probably, the best place to enjoy the best views of Kuala Lumpur without barriers.
