Christian Louboutin Tour

Hay muchos tipos de turismo, algunos viajan a lugares de frío, otros a lugares de calor, en busca de cervezas, gastronomía, monumentos y también tiendas. Y es algo que nosotros hacemos siempre en cada ciudad donde hay tiendas de lujo y especialmente con las tiendas de zapatos de Christian Louboutin. El famoso zapato de suela roja que se ha convertido en sinónimo de glamour internacional.

Me considero adicta a estos zapatos, y no sólo compro todos los que me gustan sino que me encanta disfrutar de la decoración de sus tiendas. Por ello y porque en cada tienda puedes encontrar modelos diferentes, no puedo dejar de visitar las tiendas Louboutin cuando estoy de viaje y hay alguna tienda en la misma ciudad.

Es cierto que estas maravillosas tiendas no están en las típicas calles donde se juntan las grandes firmas de lujo, las tiendas Christian Louboutin estan siempre en callejuelas, calles poco transitadas e incluso a las afueras de la ciudad, como en el caso de Miami en Florida. Tambien hay varias tiendas dentro de centros comerciales, en caso de Londres, hay tiendas Louboutin en Selfridges, en Harvey Nichols y en Harrods. En Singapur tambien encontre la tienda en Orchad Rd dentro del centro comercial Ngee Ann City.

1. Pero si hablamos de las tiendas de lujo de Christian Louboutin en plena calle, os cuento cuales son mis favoritas de todas las que he visitado por el mundo.Pequeña y coqueta en Madrid, con un escaparate recatado, donde en su elegante boutique en la famosa calle Claudio Coello 13, comprar unos zapatos se convierte en una gran experiencia, ya que en todo momento te hacen sentir como una princesa.
2. Siguiendo con este recorrido por las tiendas de lujo de Christian Louboutin, la gran manzana no puede faltar en esta ruta, y es que, aunque no sean grandes tiendas ni muy ornamentadas, las pequeñas boutiques de Manhattan en Nueva York, son perfectas para –como en las películas–, subirte a todos los tacones que puedas y caminar con ellos para ver que tal sientan, algo que se hace mucho en Estados Unidos, ver como lucen y sin compromiso. La primera boutique se encuentra entre el precioso barrio de Meatpacking y West Village (cerca de la casa de Carrie Bradshaw en Sex & the City), en el 59 de Horatio Street. La segunda boutique se encuentra en el 967 de Madison Avenue. Un par de bonitas boutiques perfectamente ambientadas que toda mujer quisiera visitar para probarse y llevarse algunos pares de los mejores zapatos del mundo.
3. En París se encuentra el epicentro de «las suelas rojas», claramente debemos detenernos si vamos a realizar una ruta por esta reconocida tienda e incluso visitar al zapatero oficial de Christian Louboutin. La primera boutique la encontramos en Rue Jean-Jacques Rousseau, la segunda en Rue de Grenelle y la tercera en Rue du Faubourg St. Honoré. Las tiendas Louboutin en París son especiales, un ambiente parisino y acogedor, y lo mejor, que tienes prácticamente todos los modelos !!.
4. Terminamos esta ruta con la visita a las tiendas Louboutin en Reino Unido, sin entrar en centros comerciales, a pie de calle y con uno de los escaparates mas bonitos se encuentra la primera boutique en la exclusiva Mount Street número 17 de Londres, y la segunda, haciendo esquina en la calle Motcomb Street número 23, en un precioso y elegante edificio blanco, también en Londres.

De igual manera, es de viaje dónde nos lleva la última colección de Christian Louboutin, ya que hemos de viajar, exactamente hasta Bhután, donde el Himalaya ha abierto sus puertas, siendo posiblemente Christian Louboutin la primera persona extranjera y amigo de la Reina que ha conseguido que una escuela de artistas cree e inspire su última colección.

En el Himalaya y desde hace muy poco, Christian Louboutin tiene un gran equipo de artesanos locales que con el consentimiento de la Reina, están creado suelas de zapatos en madera y diseños sensacionales. Un largo viaje (en todos los sentidos) desde este humilde taller en el Himalaya hasta las páginas de Vogue y los roperos, vestidores y armarios de todas a las que nos gusta caminar con suelas rojas y a 16 centímetros del suelo.

There are many ways of tourism, some people travel to cold places, other goes to warm places, in search of beers, gastronomy, monuments and also for shopping. That’s something that we always do in every city where there are luxury boutiques and shops, especially with the Christian Louboutin’ shoes. The famous red-soled shoe that has become synonymous of international glamor.

I consider myself addicted to these shoes, therefore I buy all those I like but I also love to enjoy the decoration of its stores. Hence, and because in every store you can find different shoe models, I cannot miss the Louboutin stores when I’m traveling and there is one in the same city.

These wonderful Louboutin stores are not in the main streets where the big luxury brands come together, Christian Louboutin stores are always located in narrow or isolated streets, even on the outskirts of the city, that’s the case of Miami in Florida. There are also several Louboutin shops inside malls, like inside the famous Selfridges, Harvey Nichols and Harrods, all of them in London, UK. I also found one boutique in Singapore, in the famous Orchard Road, inside the Ngee Ann City mall.

But in terms of luxury Christian Louboutin boutiques outside, in the street, I’m going to list you which are my favorites of all that I have visited around the world.

1. Small and charming, with a demure storefront, where in his elegant boutique in Madrid, on the famous street of Claudio Coello 13, to buy a red-soled shoes becomes a great experience, because they make you feel like a princess inside the store.
2. Continuing our tour across the luxury shops of Christian Louboutin, Manhattan is a ‘must’ on this route. Although those are not a large or very ornate shops, the small boutiques in Manhattan, New York, are perfect for –like in the Films–, wear a high heels and walk with them to see how they make you feel and see how they look without commitment. The first boutique is located between the beautiful Meatpacking District and West Village (and close to the Carrie Bradshaw’s house in the TV serie Sex & the City), exactly in the 59^th of Horatio Street. The second boutique is located at the 967^th Madison Avenue. A couple of nice boutiques perfectly acclimated  which all women would like to visit to try on and take some pairs of the best shoes in the world.
3. In the wonderful city of Paris we found the epicenter of «red soles», clearly we must stop if we are to make a tour of this renowned shop and even see the official shoemaker of Christian Louboutin. The first boutique found is in Rue Jean-Jacques Rousseau, the second is in the Rue de Grenelle and third is located in Rue du Faubourg St. Honore. The Louboutin’ stores in Paris are special, a Parisian and cozy atmosphere, and the best of all here, you have almost all the Louboutin’s shoe models !!.
4. We end this route with a visit to the street shops in the UK, outside the shopping malls, to find one of the most beautiful storefront in the boutique located in the exclusive number 17^th of Mount Street in London, and the second, on a corner in the 23th of Motcomb Street, in a beautiful and elegant white building, also in London.

Interestingly, to travel, is what bring us the ultimate collection of Christian Louboutin, exactly to Bhutan, where the Himalayas has opened its doors to Christian Louboutin, possibly being the first foreign person and friend of the Buthan’s Queen who has managed to create a school of artists to inspire his latest collection.

In the Himalayas and very recently, Christian Louboutin has a large team of local artisans with the consent of the Queen, where they are created wooden shoe soles. A long journey (in all senses) from this humble workshop in the Himalayas to the pages of Vogue and closets, dressers and cupboards of all that like to walk with this amazing «red soles» and 16 centimeters from the ground.
